Andres Sarda, born in Barcelona, was born into a family connected to textiles since the 1800’s. In 1962, he started creating and manufacturing women’s lingerie under the Risk label. His designs meld form and functionality, creating a seamless blend of support and sexy.

Glamour bras and lingerie accompany functionality for a balanced collection. After completing his studies in textile sciences, he started his career with Sarda Hemanos.

Among his responsibilities was introducing and marketing their products to the western hemisphere. He proved exceedingly proficient as Jacqueline Kennedy was pictured on a magazine gently clad in a Sarda Mantilla. In 1962, he started creating and manufacturing women’s lingerie under the Risk label.

Andres left behind the old, the antiquated and the over used. He strove to provide fresh models, new ideas and exciting designs. His designs meld form and functionality, creating a seamless blend of support and sexy. With this proposal at hand, Andres has provided elegance in the everyday, and the boudoir, without sacrifice.

In 1970 he introduced swimwear under the university label, and in 1980 he brought us the Andres Sarda label. This was the first label to offer elastic leavers in cashmere wool, silk, nylon and Lycra.

Today Andre designs alongside his daughter. They are joined by a highly qualified and skilled creation team, and can be found around the world in stores, boutiques and e-shops.
