Playful Promises was started by Emma Parker in 2004 and has grown into a lifestyle brand encompassing not only lingerie but beauty and soon a swimwear/beachwear range. At its core, Playful Promises exudes girl-like fun and grown up sophistication all at once; a perfect combination for any woman. Its flirty and quirky designs, which are absolutely breathtaking, are now sold in over 100 stores around the globe in both online and brick and mortar stores.
Each collection and range is "boudoir meets playroom" with elements of elegance and glamour. The collection "Alice's Party" consists of corsets with small nuances of feminine detail, gorgeous knickers and panties as well as babydolls and bar sets. Black pieces are adorned with light blue ribbons for accents and that special touch of girlish playfulness, much like the bows and ribbons used on dolls and young girl toys. This again adds to the overall youthful feeling of each and every piece in all of her collections. Bra sets are adorned with ruffles in silk while babydolls are presented in sheer fabrics announcing their seductive and sexy appeal.
The "Doll Face" collection is slightly more boudoir than "Alice's Party", yet retains its playful nature. Le Petite Poupee is one of the most gorgeous garter sets I have ever seen; it cries to be put on and simultaneously to be taken off, slowly.
